New Student
Thank you for your interest in Dallas-Fort Worth Jeet Kune Do Academy (DFWJKD). We are a diversified-teaching martial arts school which focuses on the philosophy of Bruce Lee and his Jeet Kune Do concepts/techniques. We offer programs for all, regardless of age (beginning at 6 years), gender, or athletic ability.
All prospective new students are invited to come to our academy and meet one-on-one with Sifu Kirk Weicht, the owner and head instructor of DFWJKD. During this visit, you will have the opportunity to see our fully-equipped training facility. In addition, your visit will allow us to learn more about your individual needs as a prospective student and your training objectives.
Our goal for your one-on-one meeting is to design a program that satisfies your training needs, your training schedule, and your financial budget. Our fees are based on a “sliding scale” depending on how often you want to train and how many programs you wish to include. We also offer an all-inclusive, full-access training option which allows you unlimited access to the school; meaning you are allowed to attend any classes, with any instructors, and at any times these classes are held—and most on-site special seminars.
We do not require a signed contract. Simply stated, if we are meeting your expectations, schedule, and budget we want you here as a student. If your needs, schedule or financial situation changes, you are not held “hostage” to a signed contract period (which often happens at other institutions).
